Alright guys,I've decided to sell this car finally. I've owned it for ~7+ years and bought it 100% stock. Engine--HX35 (less than 8,000 miles on CHRA)--FMIC (Ford Powerstroke)--Kirban AFPR--Custom 3" downpipe--Custom mandrel bent 3" exhaust--Custom mandrel bent 3” intercooler piping--Tubular Header w/ external wastegate--Custom. 3" tubular upper intake--Knife-edged displace intake--Recent tune-up new distributor. TFI etc--K&N AirfilterNon-engine parts--96 Mustang displace control arms (one has a new ball fit)--96 Mustang front brakes calipers and spindles (5-lug)--Sensatrac Struts (less than 10,000 miles)--Walbro 255 lph fuel handle (less than 7,000 miles)--Welded in sub-frame connectors--Boxed upper control arms--Boxed displace control arms--Welded upper and lower torque boxes--It’s been converted to manual steering--front (96 Mustang V6) I undergo a bring together different front swaybars laying around-- stiffer and softer (take your pick). --96 Mustang brake booster and master cylinder--8.8". 3.73 with disc brakes out of a ~95 Mark VIII. This axle has all new bearings and a very tight limited move!--Low mileage Spec Stage 3+ clutch--Steeda bunco impel shifter--Gauages: furnish psi oil psi wet temp boost/vacuumI've put so many parts on this car over time. I'm sure I'm forgetting lots of cram. The A/C is installed but stopped working a couple weeks ago. I think the compressor took a dump but I’m no expert. Also a thief stole the stereo a few months ago and I haven’t replaced it. The car has no stereo or speakers in the doors. This car has been my daily driver for the entire measure I owned it. I would comfortably drive this car anywhere in the country. It drives just fine but is a little touchy when cold. When cold it tries to die when the clutch is quickly depressed. By the measure I get my subdivision and reach the first forbid lighten it idles fine. After it warms up it drives fine. I've taken this car to the dragstrip countless times. My best timeslip shows 14.16 @ 103 mph. This was with a 2.3 60' measure. I have since installed the rebuilt straighten end (w/ limited slip) and it has a lot better traction. That was why I boxed in the lower control arms. Now it has axle hop in 1st and 2nd gear.. but it hooks much exceed
! That mph indicates a mid/high 12 back up et. This car has a 100% stock internal'd motor from an 88 T'coupe. It has unknown mileage. When cold the engine shows ~55 psi oil pressure and ~20 psi when cold (both pressures are at idle). IMHO this car is leaving a ton of power on the delay with the stock electronics. I have a full datalogging setup and know for a fact the VAM is maxed at ~3,300 rpms. Nevertheless. I've been driving the car in its current express for quite a while. I undergo a ton of extra parts for this car!!! I would happily sell every 2.3 part I have to one person. Some of the parts are more desirable than others but there are lots of really good parts. Extra Parts:--(1) engine with questionable block (the engine that used to be in this car). The continue has been ported and polished and it has a ranger roller cam.--(1) shortblock w/ unknown specs (I was told it has all sorts of good parts in it.. but it's only a bunco block and I would personally consider it a good builder to prevent any possible problems.)--(1) extensively modded head with solid roller cam (Crane Cam) --(1) C4 w/ 2.3 attach housing--Tons and tons of smaller partsThe extra parts are easily negotiable into or out of the 'car deal'. After I sell the car. I can easily change the rest of these parts. I will take some pictures of the extra parts and post them also. Today. I also took an hour and tried to shine the create up with some cleaner and wax. It shines up decent but is not a show (or OEM) quality paint at this juncture in its life. I've circled a couple of the 'larger' dents in the pictures. Also the paint looks shiny in the pictures but I don't evaluate it's quite as 'smooth' as it may appear to be. My camera tends to automatically alter colors.. so act that in mind. You can undergo your choose of two different sets of rims: one is from a ~2000 Mustang and the others are painted black and from a 1996 Mustang. The 2000 Mustang rims and tires are much nicer! The first link shows the nicer rims how they sit on my 96 Mustang this evening. The second link shows the nicer rims on the 91 Mustang. I'm having problems uploading these photos into my yahoo photos (I don’t be to resize every hit one) so I put them in Photobucket. I don't know how to share an entire album with photobucket though.. so I'm psoting links to each photo
. If somebody knows how to fix that.. please let me know. Send me an email address and I can send you a zip file with all these photos. I could sit here and type details about this car all night long but I will end this post for now and just let populate ask me questions. In fact it’s probably easier to discuss advance details over the phone. PM your number or I’ll give you mine and we can talk about anything you’d desire. $4,000 w/ all extra partsI'm willing to control this car a reasonable distance to meet you. undergo a good day!Michael
Michael is the gutted upper manifold and knifed displace on the car? Or is it available separately. If it's displace gratify let me know. Thanks!
The specific parts you're referencing are on the car. I do have a gutted upper and stock lower but I'm offering all my extra parts to the buyer first. If the buyer doesn't be the parts. I'll list them for sale in another thread. Have a good day!Michael
