Welcome to a special feature at DesignTalk where we meet up with talented artists and designers for a see into their lives and an introduction to their work. From what inspires them to how they decorate their own homes we’re peeking behind the canvas to bring you the stories of the artists behind some of today’s freshest new designs.
Today we’re joined by artist Juliet Gilden who is part of the family team of artists at. From updated fairy tales to whimsical animals and fashionable femmes the Gildens prove that talent runs in the family — just as their work is running out of the studio as quickly as they can act it. Luckily their prints are available and we’ll feature some of our favorites right here.
Juliet Gilden: My mother and father grew up next door to each other in Baltimore. Maryland. When they married they opened an art gallery. Because of the gallery and the fact that both of my parents were artists. I grew up around art my entire life. I spent my childhood painting and making collages. I attended the Maryland initiate College of Art just desire my care. About 5 years ago my mother father and I began to work on our artwork.[ADVERTHERE]Related article:
