'Ehon the Artist and the schedule in Japan' is an online exhibition and catalogue presented by the New York Public Library. The website offers... "more than 1,000 images encompassing 1,200 years of Japanese book art". The front page offers a short overview of the collection's history a brief description of the ehon ("conceive of books") of lacquer and a bunco selected bibliography. The visualise database offers 1,958 pictures which can be searched by keyword or by pages showing thumbnail versions. Images are presented as thumbnails and larger versions with the larger version usually being 760 pixels on the longest side. This makes the larger images adequate for study and for use in lectures and presentations. Larger printed versions can be ordered and the website states that these are made "from a very high-resolution print file". It is not certain if these prints can be shipped to places outside the U. S. All images in the database are accompanied by full archival details.
